Catcher
The Catcher range are all based on the same handle that has give rise to a number of different variations. This includes that original Catcher which has the small utility blade. The Muntjac which has a slim blade ideal for working on the small deer species, and the Boar made for dispatching the big beasts of the scrub
The Muntjac Catcher
In this example the knife has been given a Scandinavian grind to the bevel and set with yellow TurboGlow scales and black G10 liners with stainless pins. The sheath is a Danum Blades "Kybrid" It is my take on a leather and kydex hybrid which allows for the look of a leather sheath but the convenience of a washable insert. Usually made from 2mm Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel The blade is approximately 100mm Handle length approximately 120mm |
The Boar Catcher
In this example the knife has been given a double sabre edge with a secondary bevel acid etched and stone washed with a fuller milled along the centre of the blade. Set with black G10 scales, orange G10 liners and pin with a stainless lanyard tube. The sheath is a Danum Blades "Kybrid" It is my take on a leather and kydex hybrid which allows for the look of a leather sheath but the convenience of a washable insert. Usually made from 4mm Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel The blade is approximately 175mm Handle length approximately 120mm |
