Mini Nessmuck Bog Oak
This is my take on a classis design The classic knife pattern of the Nessmuk originated in the Americas, the Nessmuk knife named after the chap who popularized it, George Washington Sears. Sears was a contributor to Forest & Stream Magazine and he used the name “Nessmuk” which came from a Native American that he knew when he was a child. The Mini Nessmuk is a utility camp knife handy for all those jobs carried out around your backwoods or hunt camp. This knife has been made from 5mm O-1 high carbon steel which make it very robust. the blade has been given a scandi grind which is very sharp and easy to maintain. The scales are made from Bog Oak and lined with White fibre board these have been fitted with brass loveless bolts and lanyard tube. The sheath has been made from 3mm Veg-tan leather which has been dyed Tan and stitched with black thread. Steel - 5mm O-1 High Carbon steel Scandi Grind with a satin finished blade Blade length Approx. 78mm Over all length Approx. 182mm Sheath, Tan veg-tan leather Proof of age is required before a knife can be post as required by UK law. Mini Cleaver Blue Beech and Orange liners
This knife has been made from 6.8mm O-1 high carbon steel which makes it very robust. The blade has been given a scandi grind which is very sharp and easy to maintain. The Blades flats have been hammer finished and Acid etched. The scales are made from Stabilised Blue Beech and lined with Orange G10 these have been fitted with brass loveless bolts and landyard tube. The sheath has been made from 3mm Veg-tan leather which has been dyed Tan and stiched with black thread. Steel - 6.8mm O-1 High Carbon steel Scandi Grind with a with a hammered finished acid etched blade Blade length Approx.75mm Over all length Approx. 212mm Sheath, Tan veg-tan leather Proof of age is required before a knife can be post as required by UK law.
